General skills for beginners

Beginner Gymnastics moves

Don't worry about being a dancer who can't do acrobatic tricks- in the end with dance, especially as you get older, proper dance/ballet technique plus expressing emotion/telling a story through the choreography become more and more important, and tricks become less and less.

Cartwheels are pretty basic, and if you master those you can go on to try aerials. Walkovers are also pretty basic, but you mention that you can't do them. Is this because your back isn't that flexible? You can try to stretch your back slowly and maybe walkovers will become possible.

You could also try handstands, and maybe tinsicas (mix between front walkover and cartwheel, but in my opinion are easier than front walkovers once you get the hang of them).

You can also do variations on these basic skills, such as a stag handstand maybe, or a cartwheel from the knee, or a cartwheel slide into splits, or a cartwheel to sideways lunge/sit position.
